For Hourly:

FreeUp billing periods run Wednesday through Tuesday of each week.

Wednesday is a good day for you to review everything inside your account before you are billed on Thursday.

FreeUp will charge the payment method on file for your account every Thursday and will send you an email with an invoice to the email provided on your account.  You have one week to dispute any invoice.

For Fixed Price:

For fixed pricing agreements, you will be charged upfront for the fixed price work agreed upon between you and the freelancer.  We will release the payment to the freelancer either once the project is complete or by milestones.

FreeUp currently accepts ACH or credit card.

ACH (Stripe via Plaid) - Only for clients with a valid US bank account. ACH has no fees associated.

Credit Card (Stripe) - For US and non-US clients. Your credit card on file will be charged each Thursday. The processing fee is as follows:

  • Domestic (U.S.) charges are subject to a 3.9% +$0.30 processing fee

  • International (Non-U.S.) charges are subject to a 3.9% +$0.30 processing fee

All payment information submitted is kept private and secure.

Experiencing any issues?

If there are any issues with your payment method on file, you will be contacted by our Accounting team.

Likewise, if you have any billing issues/ questions you can always email Accounting@freeup.net.

Hope this helps!
